As part of the Reading Week Celebration, the Readers' Club organized "A Day with AL Huda English Medium UP School Students." The programme aimed to inspire young students to develop a lifelong love for reading through engaging and interactive activities. Faculty members and student volunteers conducted various reading sessions and literary games, making the event enjoyable and meaningful. The programme concluded with enthusiastic participation from the students, leaving them motivated to explore the world of books.
The Career and Placement Cell organized JOB FAIR–2026, a recruitment drive for teachers, on 16 June 2026 at the college campus. The programme provided aspiring teachers with an opportunity to interact directly with recruiting institutions and explore various career prospects in the field of education. Eligible candidates participated enthusiastically in the recruitment process and showcased their skills and qualifications before potential employers. The job fair served as an effective platform for connecting qualified teacher candidates with suitable employment opportunities.
A Faculty Development Programme on the Revised Achievement Test was conducted with Mr. Rejish M., Assistant Professor of Physical Science Education, Mother Theresa College of Teacher Education,Perambra, serving as the facilitator.The workshop provided participants with practical insights into the revised procedures for constructing valid and reliable achievement tests aligned with learning outcomes.The sessions enriched the faculty members' knowledge of assessment practices and enhanced their competence in developing effective evaluation tools.
An informative lecture on Value Based Pedagogy in Teacher Education was arranged for students and teachers at the college. The session was led by Dr. Samad T V, who highlighted the role of values in effective teaching and learning. The programme motivated participants to adopt value-oriented approaches in educational practices.
