Guided by the motto “Education through Service,” NSS encourages youth to engage actively in social welfare initiatives and community development. Launched in 1969 with 40,000 volunteers across 37 universities, NSS has grown significantly over the years and now operates in hundreds of universities, colleges, technical institutions, and senior secondary schools throughout India. Driven by a shared commitment to community service and human dignity, a heartwarming two-day gathering titled "Sparsham 2026: Kidappu Rogi Sangamam" (Bedridden Patients' Meet) took place on June 27 and 28, 2026.
