The Tha-a-leemul Islam Committee, which was started in the 1960s as a madrasa movement in Nadapuram, has today grown into the largest educational agency in the Vatakara educational district. The committee was formed under the inspiration of educational reformer Janab Atholi Moideen Sahib and social reformer Janab Paravanna Moideenkutty Musliyar.
Key Highlights
Establishment of TM Girls' High School: In 1979, the committee established TIM Girls' High School,under the direction and leader ship of the then education minister janab C H Muhammad koya, which was later upgraded to a higher secondary school in 1998.
AL Huda UP school: In 1996, the committee merged with the Ideal Islamic Society,a youth reformer group of Nadapuram which was running an Islamic Nursery & LP School. The committee received government recognition and upgraded the school to a UP school.
TIM Training College: In 2005, the committee established TIM Training College, the first professional college in the Vatakara educational district, under Calicut University.
Achievements
