| COMMUNITY LIVING CAMP |
|
The college includes a Community Living Camp as a regular and essential component of the B.Ed curriculum, held each academic year at a location selected by the institution. This four-day residential camp brings together student -teachers and their teacher educators in a planned programme that emphasizes experiential learning and community engagement. The camp enables participants to learn to live together cooperatively, develop personal and social skills, practice democratic living, share responsibilities, and engage in community work — all of which are considered important outcomes of the experience. The activities of the camp are designed around a theme related to education, society, culture, or the environment, and aim to deepen understanding of community life and social values. Each student-teacher prepares a detailed record of the camp’s objectives and activities, often supplemented with photographs, which reflects on their learning and participation.
