Academic Quality Assurance Cell

 

ACADEMIC QUALITY ASSURANCE CELL (AQAC)  at TIM Training College is set to ensure quality and continuous improvement in academic activities. It ensures adoption of innovative teaching practices and regularly assess teaching learning and evaluation processes. Constant monitoring and feedback received helps in setting quality bench marks.

 

OBJECTIVES

  • To constantly evaluate teaching and learning activities.
  • To collect and analyse feedback from teachers and students.
  • Organise seminars ,workshops and faculty development programmes to ensure quality.
  • To facilitate learner centred teaching by encouraging adoption of innovative teaching practices.
  • To document all the extension activities and submit an annual quality assurance report.

ACADEMIC CALENDAR COMMITTEE

 

The academic calendar committee of TIM Training college prepares a year plan for an academic year. The committee analyses and plans and schedules all the academic and non academic activities of our college. The prepared calendar provides a clear road map of the academic activities for the smooth functioning.

OBJECTIVES

  • To schedule all the activities in the college starting from admissions up to convocation.
  • To mark important holidays,institutional functions,workshops,seminars,club activities and cultural events.
  • To ensure a balance between curricular and co-curricular activities in accordance with the objectives of the curriculum.
  • To revise and update the calendar if there is any requirement.

CURRICULUM PLANNING COMMITTEE

 

The Curriculum Planning Committee of Tim Training college is formed to plan ,organise and renew the curriculum.The committee conducts periodic meetings to reflect on curriculum effectiveness.CPC evaluates the outcomes and results to improve effectiveness and include innovative programmes.

OBJECIVES

  • To assess the effectiveness of the curriculum and suggest improvements.
  • To reflect and revise the ongoing practices done at the college.
  • To collect feedback from students ,staff ,alumni for periodical revision.
  • To provide guidance and support services to faculty for their professional growth.
  • To propose new activities according to the emerging trends

EXAMINATIO0N COMMITTEE

 

The Examination Committee at TIM Training College is responsible for the smooth and fair conduct of all internal and external examinations. Functioning under the guidance of the Principal, the committee plans, schedules, and manages examination-related activities in coordination with faculty and administrative staff. It ensures confidentiality, transparency, and adherence to academic regulations. The committee also handles tasks like question paper setting, invigilation arrangements, evaluation, and result processing to maintain the integrity of the examination system.

 

OBJECTIVES

 

  • Ensure Smooth Conduct of Exams :Plan and organize all internal and external examinations in a fair, timely, and systematic manner.
  • Maintain Confidentiality and Integrity :Ensure secrecy and security in all exam-related processes, including question paper setting, printing, and evaluation.
  • Coordinate Evaluation and Result Processing : Oversee timely evaluation of answer scripts and accurate preparation and declaration of results
  • Handle Examination Grievances : Address student queries and complaints related to exams, results, and re-evaluation processes.
  • Follow Academic Regulations : Ensure all examination activities follow the rules and guidelines set by the college and affiliating university.

LIBRARY ADVISORY COMMITTEE

 

The Library Advisory Committee at TIM Training College Nadapuram works under the leadership of the Principal. It includes teachers and student members who help improve the library. The committee gives suggestions to make the library better by adding useful books, improving services, and creating a good study environment. Its main goal is to support students and staff in their learning and research.

OBJECTIVES

 

  • Promote Better Use of the Library : Help students and staff make the best use of library books, services, and facilities for their learning and development.
  • Guide Library Growth and Improvement : Give suggestions for upgrading the library, including adding new books, digital resources, and better facilities.
  • Support Teaching, Learning, and Research : Make sure the library provides the right materials to match the college’s courses and research needs.
  • Encourage Reading and Lifelong Learning : Create a love for reading and learning by organizing library events, activities, and reading programs.
  • Focus on User Needs : Listen to the feedback from library users and help make policies that improve their experience and access to resources.

GRIEVANCE REDRESSAL CELL

 

 

A Grievance Redressal Cell in TIM training college is a formal mechanism or committee established to address and resolve complaints, grievances, or concerns raised by individuals, typically in an institutional setting. 

 

OBJECTIVES

  • Provide a platform for students to report grievances related to academic, administrative, or personal issues.
  • Ensure timely and fair resolution of grievances.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive campus environment.
  • Promote transparency and accountability.
  • Address issues related to harassment, discrimination, or unfair treatment.

PARENT-TEACHER ASSOCIATION

 

The Parent–Teacher Association (PTA) of T.I.M. Training College, Nadapuram, has been constituted with the objective of fostering a healthy relationship between parents, teachers, and the management. The PTA serves as a vital link to ensure the holistic development of students by encouraging cooperation and mutual understanding. It provides a common platform for parents and teachers to discuss matters related to academics, discipline, welfare, and institutional growth. Through its activities, the PTA contributes significantly to enhancing the quality of education, promoting student well-being, and strengthening the overall teaching- learning environment of the college.

OBJECTIVES

  • To promote close interaction and cooperation between parents and teachers for the overall development of students.
  • To support the academic, co-curricular, and extracurricular activities of the college.
