' ETHICA '- THE ETHICS COMMITTEE
|
The Ethics Committee of the institution plays an important role in promoting ethical values, integrity, and responsible conduct among students, teaching staff, and non-teaching staff. It encourages members of the academic community to uphold honesty, fairness, sincerity, accountability, and mutual respect in their interactions and activities. The committee creates awareness about ethical standards, professional responsibilities, institutional values, and appropriate codes of conduct. It works towards maintaining a respectful, inclusive, supportive, and safe academic environment where every individual is treated with dignity. The committee provides appropriate guidance in identifying and addressing ethical concerns and supports the fair and responsible resolution of issues. It encourages students to demonstrate responsible behaviour, discipline, respect, and integrity in both their academic activities and personal lives. The committee promotes transparency, accountability, and fairness in institutional practices and encourages responsible participation in various academic and administrative activities. It organizes seminars, workshops, awareness campaigns, discussions, and other programmes related to ethics, human values, professional conduct, and social responsibility. The committee guides students and staff in making thoughtful, responsible, and ethical decisions when faced with academic, professional, or social situations. Through these initiatives, the Ethics Committee contributes to building a strong institutional culture based on integrity, dignity, respect, accountability, and social responsibility.
