ANTI-RAGGING CELL

An Anti-Ragging Cell in TIM training college is a committee established to prevent, monitor, and address incidents of ragging (harassment, bullying,or intimidation of new students by seniors). The cell's primary goal is to: Create a safe and welcoming environment for freshmen,Prevent ragging incidents,Investigate and take action on ragging complaints,Provide support to victims of ragging .The cell typically consists of faculty members, administrators, and student representatives. They work together to raise awareness about anti-ragging policies,Monitor campus activities,Handle complaints and take disciplinary action when necessary .The Anti-Ragging Cell plays a crucial role in promoting a positive and respectful campus culture.

 

ANTI-NARCOTIC COMMITTEE

 

The Anti-Narcotics Cell of TIM Training College has been established with the primary aim of ensuring a drug-free campus. A strict ban is enforced on the use of drugs and alcohol by students.In recent times, the widespread use of narcotics in and around educational institutions has become a serious concern. Drug dealers often target students, not only as users but also as carriers. Hence, it is vital for teachers and parents to unite in the fight against this threat. With this noble intention, the Anti-Narcotics Cell of our college was formed. We aim to guide our energetic youth by educating them and simultaneously warning them about the serious consequences of substance abuse.We maintain close contact with the Excise and Police Departments, organizing programmes to make students aware of the strong legal framework in place against narcotics.

The Career and Guidance cell plays a crucial role in shaping the future of studentsby providing them with timely and accurate career planning higher education skill development and employment oppertunities.The cell in our college aims to bridge the gap between students and the professional world by empowering them providing guidance on career paths and facilitating placements in reputable organisations.

 

WOMEN CELL

 

A WDC serves as a platform for students at colleges, Universities or workspaces with the objective of promoting gender equality, women’s empowerment and creating a safe and secure environment for women. It provides students support for addressing complaints and grievances related to women’s safety and equality.Through WDC students gain awareness on issues like gender sensitivity, women’s health,self defense,cyber safety etc.

 

LITERARY CLUB

Nature Club is a community of students who share a love and passion for environment .It provides Opportunities to learn about nature, conserve natural resources and spread awareness about environmental issues. The club instils eco friendly habits and a sense of responsibility towards mother earth.

 

SCIENCE CLUB

 

Science Club ifocused on exploring and promoting scientific knowledge and interests, beyond the standard school curriculum. It provides a platform for hands-on learning, experiments, and discussions, fostering a deeper understanding of the scientific world and encouraging a scientific mindset.

 

READER'S CLUB

 

The Reader’s Club  is a vibrant platform designed to cultivate a love for reading, critical thinking, and meaningful dialogue among future educators. As part of a B.Ed program, where shaping young minds is the core purpose, nurturing a habit of reading is not just beneficial—it is essential.The club aims to create a community of aspiring teachers who appreciate literature, value diverse perspectives, and engage in lifelong learning. Through reading, discussion, and reflection, the club supports the holistic development of student-teachers, both professionally and personally.

 

HEALTH AND SPORTS CLUB

 

Health and Sports Club  is a student-led and faculty-supported organization that promotes physical fitness, mental well-being, and sportsmanship among future educators. It aims to develop awareness about health, encourage participation in sports and recreational activities, and instill the values of teamwork, discipline, and leadership essential for professional educators.It aims to  promote physical fitness and healthy lifestyles among student-teachers through regular sports and fitness activities.

The club operates its own news channel, allowing students to gain hands-on experience in broadcasting, from writing scripts to filming and editing. GREEN CLUB

 

Green club aims to work to improve the environment and raise awareness of environmental issues. Green clubs can help students learnabout sustainability and develop leadership skills. A Green Campus is a place where environmental friendly practices and education combine to promote sustainable and eco-friendly practices in the campus. The green campus concept offers an institution the opportunity to take the lead in redefining its environmental culture and developing newparadigms by creating sustainable solutions to environmental, social and economic needs ofthe mankind.
